  • The concert for David Crowder Band & others simply ROCKED!!!    I haven’t been so encouraged and edified in that way for a very long time!  To be given the opportunity and FREEDOM to
worship through song and allowing my body to act out my heart-postures
was just liberating!  As King David once said to his wife as he
was dancing BEFORE the Lord, ”
I will become even more undignified than this, and I will be humiliated in my own eyes.

    Translation:  At
the end of this day, I don’t care if I’m gonna be humiliated, if it
only means that God will be honored and pleased with the sacrifice of
    worship I bring!

As much as I do understand how that statement may bother some, it even
bothered me a long time ago… there is something dare I say… HOLY about
being in the presence of other followers of Jesus as they collectively
bring their individual sacrifices of worship before Him.  To
not just sing songs, but to bring a mixture of words with heart-intents
that become something that is more powerful, truthful, and
    Spirit-filled.

A man once said, “The Kingdom of God is for kids…
As much as it is important for us to grow and mature as
followers, learning how to apply and live out worshipful lives in the
daily routine of life, we must never lose the joy and the longing to
join with the Spirit as He cries out “Abba Father!!!

    It
was a great concert indeed, but more importantly I hope that He was
honored and pleased with this very small act of worship tonight.
He ministered to my heart and soul today, and I am grateful.

  • I can’t believe i missed it….=(

  • I’m glad that you were able to feel unashamed and unembarrassed to worship God in the way that you felt led.  That, in my opinion is how worship should be given.  Doesn’t matter what other people may say or think, your worship is not for them, it’s for God.

  • wish i could of gone :(

  • I never saw how concerts were good…you see people perform…thats it…right? XD

  • it was amazing and very uplifting.

  • Cool!   Continue to do so in everyway, not only in singing, but whether in daily devotions, preparing for sunday school or acting out in kindness and whatever you do, that you’d feel unashamed because that too is your worship to God.

  • Hey!  David Crowder Band..don’t concerts rock!  Especially when God is the prime focus.  I’ll be seeing Matt Redmond and Chris Tomlin this Saturday!  woohooo!  Another gathering of fellow believers all focused and willing to glorify and praise God!!  Just being part of a celebration/worship session like that always refreshes and strengthens me.  God bless you!
